Recently, my husband left me after 20 years of marriage, and I had no idea how to proceed. I married early in my life, so I didn’t have much experience meeting new people.

The further we drove, the more anxious I became.
I couldn’t help but wonder if I was making a huge mistake. But I pushed those thoughts aside, reminding myself that I was here to take a chance on happiness.
Finally, the taxi pulled up to a small apartment building. I paid the driver and stepped out, feeling a mixture of excitement and nerves.
