I kept trying to push the thought aside because everything else about him was pleasant. We laughed, shared stories, and genuinely enjoyed each other’s company. Still, the smell lingered in the back of my mind, almost distracting me from the conversation.

He chuckled a little and admitted, “Oh wow, is it too much?
