Since my family left me, I now live on my own, and moments like these make me smile. When I got to the checkout counter, I horrifiedly realized that I had misplaced the two dollars I needed to purchase the bun.

I started desperately looking through my purse for coins, hoping to find enough to cover the cost.

After observing my struggle, the cashier harshly advised, “Hurry up, old lady.

” You shouldn’t be here wasting our time if you can’t afford it. ”

A rude cashier made fun of me because I was old and poor. Karma struck back, and my life changed forever.

Not too long ago, a trip to the supermarket changed my life.

In the end, this experience taught me a valuable life lesson that I would like to share with others. An elderly woman shopping for food | Source: Pexels Advert She spoke with such force that I felt a wave of shame wash over me.

My face turned red with shame as I could feel other customers’ eyes on me. Karma took control just as I was about to leave, defeated.

Take care!

A kind stranger came up to me while I was standing there.

He had seen everything and offered to pay for my bun.

With a warm smile, he asked, “Please, allow me to assist you. ” He then handed me the bun.
