I (16M) and my ex (18F) had been dating for 7 months and talking for 10. Everything had been going great.
We took a trip together to the beach and stayed in the same bed for a week.
I talked to this girl all day every day. We talked about our future and how deep our love ran.
I met her whole family and she met mine.
She was basically my other half.
I truly thought she was the one. When we went to the beach I was turned towards her and she turned away.
I looked over and saw she was texting a guy.
Now I calmly asked what was up and she just said she was talking about work so I went ok cool and went on with my day.
After we get back, she uncharacteristically says she’s hanging with a friend she has never mentioned before.
When with this mystery friend she doesn’t talk to me for 8 hours. I ask what is up and then she does it again 2 days later.
She made it seem like there is no trust between us(when I was asking what was up) and then broke up.
I thought, well she was going to college so it was probably for the better.
About 2 weeks post breakup she posts this guy on her story. It was the guy she was texting.
I was cheated on, and then learned that I was dumped so she could be with another guy.
Worst part is, she told my friends girlfriend about how I was talking to other girls(I wasn’t) and how I lied to her and that’s why it ended.
